Recently, after being supervised and released by Zengcheng Customs under the jurisdiction of Huangpu Customs, a Sino Laos freight train carrying 16 Beiqi Foton pickup trucks drove from Zengcheng West Station to Laos. This is the first time for Guangdong Province to export finished automobiles to Laos through international trains.

At present, Huangpu Customs has served 17 cities in 10 countries in Zengcheng West Railway Station. According to statistics, from January to August this year, the customs has supervised the operation of 194 international trains, with a value of 4.66 billion yuan, 3.71 times and 3.65 times higher than the total of last year.

The frequency of operation is increased, and the radius of cargo collection is gradually increased. "For more than a year, Zengcheng West Railway Station has achieved daily delivery from one train a week, which has directly driven the substantial growth of freight volume." Li Siqiang, the person in charge of the international train business of Guangzhou Integrated Transport Hub Co., Ltd., said.

"Taking the old and middle class trains for export not only saves the freight time, but also reduces the cost." Yi Hui, head of the Second Comprehensive Business Section of Zengcheng Customs, said. "With the West Railway Station as the information hub, we carried out policy presentations on tariff concessions, technology and trade measures, rules of origin and other policies, benefiting more than 150 enterprises, and achieved regulatory linkage through 'platform+information' connectivity to improve quality and efficiency." From January to August this year, Zengcheng West Railway Station issued 37 trains with a value of more than 5 million dollars, a 12 fold increase over last year. The category of goods has expanded from the original clothing, building materials, small household appliances and other products to automobile, photovoltaic modules and other products, realizing diversified development.

Zengcheng Customs also actively promoted the implementation of the "railway rapid customs clearance" model, and adopted the "7 × Convenient measures such as 24-hour "booking customs clearance, priority inspection, etc., flexible use of customs transfer modes such as territorial declaration, arrival and transfer, and special personnel to track the customs declaration, transfer data sending, review and release, data verification and cancellation, so as to comprehensively promote the rapid customs clearance of international trains.
