As the competent local customs of major shipbuilding enterprises in Shanghai, Pudong Customs has continued to strengthen supervision and optimization services, open up a special channel for "cruise projects", "inspect on arrival" large quantities of imported equipment, and exempt relevant complete sets of marine production equipment from mandatory product entry inspection and pre audit procedures for energy efficiency product entry verification, so as to ensure rapid and safe production. At the same time, carry out "door-to-door" on-site inspection at the special wharf for enterprises to achieve efficient customs clearance of marine materials.
The cruise ship construction project involves bonded equipment such as marine engines, desalination units, desulfurization towers, etc. These equipment are large in size, high in accuracy, and large in processing area, with high requirements for customs clearance. Pudong Customs implements bonded supervision by classification using the "main material work method" to speed up the filing, verification and verification of all links. Qian Hua, customs administrator of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, introduced that "after being included in the pilot project, the circulation time of the company's bonded materials and parts has been effectively shortened, which has saved the logistics cost and further improved the production efficiency."
