On September 5, after passing the inspection and Quarantine of Shaoshan customs, 10 tons of round Xianglian produced by Hunan Lianmei Food Co., Ltd. were sent to Hong Kong for local food enterprises to make lotus paste filling for moon cakes.

Zou Yanzi, the Customs Manager of the company, introduced that the lotus paste made of Xianglian is delicate, fragrant, soft and lubricating. The lotus paste fillings of many types of moon cakes are made of Hunan Xianglian.

Moon cakes are seasonal foods with a relatively short time to market. Shaoshan customs guides enterprises to use the "single window" of international trade to declare customs, implement inspection and quarantine at the first time, and issue customs clearance forms in time to ensure the smooth supply of Xianglian to Hong Kong.

Xianglian is a characteristic export agricultural product of Xiangtan, Hunan. According to statistics, a total of 789 tons of Xianglian were exported from January to August this year, mainly to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and other places. (he guxuan / text)
