On August 22, the General Administration of Customs held a national conference on strengthening clean culture construction and warning education in the new era in Beijing.   Wang Lin, the head of the discipline inspection and supervision group of the General Administration of customs, reported eight typical cases of the customs system investigating and handling violations of discipline and law. Xu Dachun, director of the Political Department of the General Administration of customs, presided over the meeting, and the Party committee members of the general Administration of Customs in Beijing attended the meeting.

The meeting stressed that it is necessary to maintain the vigilance of zero tolerance, deeply understand the severe and complex situation of the Party style and clean government construction and anti-corruption struggle in the customs system, firmly grasp the dialectical unity of "punishment, governance and prevention", and enhance the comprehensive Anti-corruption Governance Efficiency through the integration of punishment, deterrence, institutional restraint and awareness raising, so that party members and cadres are afraid of corruption because of fear, cannot be corrupt because of the system, and do not want to be corrupt because of awareness.

The meeting demanded that we should adhere to the principle of being honest and practical, and strive to strengthen the construction of a clean customs culture in the new era. The customs throughout the country advocate the culture of "seeking truth, being down-to-earth, and being simple", integrate incorruptible thinking, incorruptible culture, and incorruptible discipline into the blood of the paramilitary disciplinary forces, forge a strong disciplinary style of the customs team, and transform it into practical actions to guard the country and promote development.

Leading cadres at all levels of the customs should set an example, take the lead in implementing the opinions on strengthening the construction of a clean and honest culture in the new era, put the clean and honest requirements into daily education, management and supervision, and form a "head goose effect", so as to be strict in self-discipline, performance of duties, and ordinary times, always maintain the soberness and steadfastness of "catching up with the examination", and constantly promote the customs to comprehensively run the party strictly, improve the party's style and clean government, and fight against corruption in depth, We will do our best to do all our work with a strict discipline style, complete the annual tasks with high quality, ensure the safety and stability of the customs business and the team, and create a good atmosphere for the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

More than 20000 customs cadres across the country participated in the meeting. The participants watched the warning and education film "how can national guards tolerate violations of discipline and law II - Analysis of some typical cases of violations of discipline and law in the customs system since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China" jointly shot by the General Administration of customs and the discipline inspection and supervision group stationed in the customs office.
