      3. Organic chemical raw materials (basic organic chemical raw materials, organic intermediates, etc.)

      4. Chemical fertilizers (nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer, compound fertilizer, trace element fertilizer, etc.)

      5. Pesticides (insecticides, herbicides, biological pesticides, etc.)

      6. High polymer (synthetic resin and plastic, synthetic rubber, plastic products, etc.)

      7. Coatings and inorganic pigments (paints, special printing inks, inorganic pigments, etc.)

      13. Synthetic drugs

      14. Adhesive

      15. Rubber products

      16. Catalysts and chemical additives

      17. Other chemical products

From the perspective of import declaration, we often divide imported chemicals into three categories: chemical raw materials, chemical products, and dangerous goods.

Among them, imported chemical raw materials mainly include: quartz sand, kaolin, paste and so on. The import of dangerous goods is mainly based on its MSDS. If there is UN.XXX, then the dangerous goods import process must be followed when importing. It is necessary to apply for the classification and grade identification report of dangerous goods first, and also need to affix Chinese labels on the outer packaging of the goods. As for chemical products, there are many, mainly paints, glues, fertilizers, additives, auxiliaries, daily chemicals and so on.

2. Customs declaration documents required for imported chemical products

      Basic documents (all chemicals):

      Packing List

      invoice

      contract

      Bill of lading

Declaration elements (product name, customs code, ingredient content, use, etc.)

      Other documents:

MSDS/SDS (applicable to all kinds of dangerous goods and chemicals: paint, glue, fertilizer, additives, etc.)

Dangerous goods classification and identification report (applicable: all kinds of dangerous goods or goods related to dangerous goods, such as paint, glue, zinc powder, aluminum powder, etc.)

Imported paint registration certificate (applicable: paints with customs codes under 3208 and 3209)

Three, matters needing attention

      Imported paint coating:

      1. It is necessary to confirm the customs code before importing. If it is paint under 3208 and 3209, it needs to apply for the "Imported Paint Recording Certificate" in advance (for the record)

      2. Since most coatings are flammable products, they need to be treated as imported dangerous goods, and the "Dangerous Goods Classification and Grade Appraisal Report" should be handled in advance.

      Imported recycled plastic pellets:

      1. Imported plastic pellets need to meet the three unified requirements of the customs, namely: unified color (the same packaging cannot be mixed), the same packaging, and the same size.

      2. When shipping abroad, Chinese labels should be affixed to show the product name, color, ingredient content, certificate of origin, manufacturer, origin and other information.

      3. If the quality of recycled materials is too poor, it will be required to do solid waste testing (cost 10,000+, time is about 20 working days), and a high fine will be incurred (reference: 200,000-500,000/container), the circumstances are serious Criminal responsibility will also be investigated. Customers are advised to strictly control the quality of the goods!

      Imported dangerous goods:

      1. The "Dangerous Goods Classification and Grade Identification Report" must be processed in advance

      2. The outer packaging should be affixed with Chinese labels (Chinese labels that have been filed)

      3. Choose a suitable port for entry, because not all terminals have the qualifications for dangerous goods storage.
