It is found in tropical areas of South and Southeast Asia, such as India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and other places. In the wood market, hardwood is often referred to as "Indian rosewood" or "Bombay Rosewood", although these names may be confused with other tree species, its high-quality wood properties make it very popular in furniture making, musical instrument making, and fine woodworking.

Documents required for import:

Certificate of origin, Plant Planting Certificate, Fumigation Certificate, code list, packing list, commercial invoice, trade contract, ocean bill of Lading.

Hardwood belongs to rosewood, and species import license is required; endangered wood requires endangered species certificate; CITES ocean bill of lading is required from abroad. The consignee is your company, please provide the order of exchange and endorsement of bill of lading.

PS: If you do not know the exact name of the imported wood, you need to provide the Latin name of the wood to confirm the wood species (all wood has only one Latin name). There are many common names for the same kind of wood in China, and even the same common name should have several different kinds of wood, and the import declaration price (customs review price) of different wood is different
