The coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) is a plant in the palm family. It is mainly distributed in Africa, Latin America, Asia and equatorial coastal areas. The main producing areas of coconut are Sri Lanka, Malaysia, India, Philippines and so on. The following are the recent coconut customs clearance cases imported by our clients.

Precautions for importing coconuts
1. Coconuts should come from designated origin, orchards and packing plants (need to be on the list of country access and category access).
2. The coconut packing box should be marked or marked with the name of the fruit, the origin, the name or code of the packaging factory.
(3) The type of coconut shall conform to the content of the license, the quantity shall not exceed the permitted quantity, and shall not include unapproved fruit types.
4. The content of toxic and harmful substances such as pesticide residues and heavy metals in coconut should conform to Chinese national standards.
5. Apply for plant quarantine certificate of exporting country/region.
Note: If the container is shipped, the container number should be reflected on the certificate; The consignee on the certificate should be the same as the consignee on the "Entry Animal and Plant Quarantine Permit" and the one who signed the trade contract; If the bilateral agreement requires a special declaration to be reflected on the certificate, such declaration shall be made.
