Basic operation process of wood:

Sign the import agency contract → the import enterprise to provide information → confirm the customs code and import tariff rate → confirm whether it is necessary to apply for the certificate of non-endangered species → Foreign forest farm (confirm that the goods are ready) → Booking → loading → Sea → Arriving at the port → payment of freight → shipping agent to change the bill → Inspection → Customs declaration and review the price → Tax payment → Customs inspection → release of goods → fumigation → Dock trailer (general disinfection time is 30 minutes, queue disinfection) → Pick up → delivery to the designated place in China.

Documents required for wood import:

Certificate of origin, Plant Planting Certificate, Fumigation Certificate, code list, packing list, commercial invoice, trade contract, ocean bill of Lading. Import of rosewood requires species import license, endangered wood requires endangered species certificate, and foreign CITES ocean bill of lading is required. The consignee is your company, please provide the order of exchange and endorsement of bill of lading.
