Olive oil is directly cold-pressed from fresh olive fruit, without heat and chemical treatment, retaining the natural nutrients. Olive oil is considered to be the most suitable oil for human nutrition among the oils discovered so far.
Olive oil and olive pomace oil have a history of thousands of years in the Mediterranean coastal countries, and are known in the West as "liquid gold", "Queen of vegetable oil", "Mediterranean nectar", because of its excellent natural health, beauty and ideal cooking use.

Olive oil is one of the most common vegetable oil products imported by our company. The following is the import case document of our import agent customers. 

 

1. Classification of olive oil:

 

According to China's national standards, pre-packaged olive oil is divided into three categories: virgin olive oil (physical process), refined olive oil (refining process), mixed olive oil.

 

★ Virgin olive oil is divided into extra virgin olive oil, intermediate virgin olive oil, virgin olive oil olive oil (the oil can not be eaten directly).

 

2. Olive oil import documents and procedures

 

Import documents:

 

Automatic import license, complete set of trade documents, certificate of origin, health certificate, product testing report (nutritional analysis report), production date certificate and filling certificate, etc.

 

Import process:

 

1. Before the goods arrive at the port, do a good job of the enterprise receiver and consignor record, apply for automatic import license, Chinese label pre-examination; 2. Notify foreign suppliers to attach Chinese labels and deliver goods; 3. Exchange documents, customs declaration and inspection after arrival at the port; 4. Tax payment, inspection (or sampling), release; 5. Inspection and quarantine certificate of outbound goods 6. Sale and use.

 

3. Chinese label of olive oil

 

The imported pre-packaged olive oil should be mandatory with the food name, ingredient list, country of origin, net content, storage conditions, importer/distributor/agent's name, address, contact information, packaging date (date of production), shelf life, nutrition facts list, trans fatty acid content, among which the virgin olive oil should be marked with the year of the olive fruit.
